What I Do
I specialise in designing and developing bespoke websites which are responsive in design. I work with smaller local businesses and start-ups to help them build a brand that will truly shine.
First Steps – We will discuss all your requirements and chat about your company goals and what you need your website to do.
Price Estimate – Once I have a clear overview of what your requirements are I will be able to provide you with an estimate for the full project.
Project Management – Before any coding or design work commences I will provide you with a requirements document as well as a project schedule which will list all milestones, deliverables and costings. Once this stage has been agreed I will then require a deposit of 33%.
Wireframes & Design – At this stage we can discuss in detail about what elements are required and where they will be placed within the website. Initially I will provide you with sketched wireframes and when you feel happy with how the design looks I will then be able to provide you with a detailed digital design which I will create using Photoshop. I will also provide you with a moodboard which will detail your choice of typography, textures, images, colour pallet and any other website elements. As always communication is paramount and regular dialogue will be maintained throughout this process.
The Development – I will build the website using the method we had agreed upon & we’ll have regular reviews throughout the development on how the website looks & functions. As well as building your website, I will also develop graphic design elements at this stage, again with regular contact I will make sure you are 100% happy with the progress.
Testing – Before your website goes live on the web I will perform some rigorous testing to make sure it performs as expected. Among these include device testing – this will make sure the site looks good on various devices including desktop PCs, tablets and smartphones. Browser testing is also vital as there are a number of different browsers available for users which include Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Internet Explorer etc…
Website goes live – At this point your website will now be uploaded to your chosen hosting solution. If you have opted to manage the website yourself I can provide additional training on how you can edit & add content to your website.
The Future – Hopefully after you take delivery of your website, we can keep in touch and review how your website has been performing. I’m more than happy to answer and questions you may have.
Whether you want to set up a simple and attractive brochure-style site, or would prefer to start selling your products on the web, I can design a website that is as simple or as sophisticated as you would like.
Stunning images will enhance your website greatly as it will give your target audience a clear idea of what your business offers. I can help by taking professional photographs for your website.
