Overview
The Mantelpiece is a long-established family business specialising in fireplaces and surrounds. Despite serving the local community for more than three decades, the business had no online presence and relied primarily on its showroom and reputation to attract customers.
The objective was to create a clean, professional brochure website that would showcase the company’s products and services while giving potential customers an easy way to learn more about the business online.
My Approach
The website was designed with simplicity and usability at its core, ensuring it could be easily updated and managed by the business owner despite having limited technical experience.
Alongside the website development, I recreated and digitised the company’s existing logo from its shop signage, producing a scalable vector version suitable for both digital and print applications. I also designed supporting marketing materials, including a company brochure and magazine advertisement, helping to establish a consistent visual identity across multiple channels.
The finished website provides a straightforward, responsive browsing experience that allows customers to explore the company’s range of fireplaces, view contact information and find the showroom with ease.

Outcome

By combining website design with logo digitisation and supporting print materials, the project demonstrates my ability to deliver a complete branding solution that balances creativity with practical business needs.
